Everything in my world is going swimingly. I have been working everyday and spinning on the weekends. Honestly it is getting a little tiring, but the having money thing really makes it all ok. This weekend Surf will be up in CT. Then next Thrusday the real fun begins. I am hoping tour will be everything it is suppose to be. This past weekend was amazing. The colorguard is right on target. We scored .1 below ECJ and .6 behind spartans. Honestly that hasn't happened for us in a long time. I look forward to the weekends so much. I love all of the people that I get to spin with and the staff wow I can't wait for future events. I think this has been my favorite season so far. I loved 2004 simply for the Nine. 2005 was loved for us becoming a strong guard. This year is loved because I have my two best friends, I have some awesome new friends, and because the guard is becoming great not just strong. Me and Ashley talked about how rewarding it is to be here sometimes. If you think about it Surf is something special. It takes all girls from any high school and doesn't make cuts. In the winter yes things can be scary...even into our first shows. Then we start working together and the vets get to show the girls what it is really all about. Then by the end of the season we have this awesome product. The level of accomplishment is so high. Girls go from having barely any training to being solid performers. I don't think some of the guards we go against get that same feeling considering they mostly come from the same places. In the end yes it helps them that they all have the same technique, but it is cool to see that we are so close to them. It is really neat to look back on the journey....especially when there is some left. I wonder how far we can come. I wonder how far I can come. Surf is definately a major reason for why i love doing what I do and how I have become the performer I am. Ok that is all, because I am starting to think about things that will make me cry.


Remember the homeshow ashley. It will be three times worse at Finals.
