Yesterday was a good day. I was full of luck. I had to make my first ever court appearance. Supposedly back in April I ran a red light. I got a ticket and three points. This all happened at the worst time considering it was late in the evening and I had a major project due the next morning. Not to mention the cop was mean. Ok forward to yesterday. I had to be in West Chester at 3:30pm to see if I could get my ticket and points reduced. I notice that everyone around me is getting called in except me. It turns out they were waiting for my officer to arrive. It is almost 4pm when the clerk calls me up to the desk. I don't know much about courts, but at this one they run on half hour blocks. Meaning if you have a 3:30 time you have to be seen by 4 when the block is over. For example my officer still hadn't shown up at close to 4pm so they had to send me in because it was the end of my block. Which in turn ended up being sweet for me. The judge asked me a few questions about myself, stated the charge, and asked what I thought happened. I said the light was yellow when I entered the intersection and he then said that I was found not guilty. YAY! So now we get our money back and I have no points on my liscence. all i am wondering is if say I get pulled over again will that be on my driving history that I had a citation and was found not guilty or will it just not exsist? Then me, my mom, and dad went out to dinner. It was a good day for me. My dad told me to go buy lottery tickets, but I didn't.
